Junk Kouture is a nationwide competition in which teams from secondary schools come together to create a wearable outfit of high end fashion. It was an honour to have Bishop Nulty visit the school.
A group of students from Kildare Town Community School came together to design a dress made of various materials, including coffee filters, lace curtains and beads from jewellery.. This is their first time to enter the competition and they are delighted to get through to the Regional Finals. Their teachers are Edel Bartley and Mairead Murphy. Kildare Town Community School is under the joint patronage of the Dioceses and Kildare and Wicklow ETB.
